HIFU
Focused ultrasound lifting — the non-surgical facelift alternative.
HIFU (high-intensity focused ultrasound) is the most established non-surgical lifting technology. It focuses ultrasound energy at precise depths beneath the skin — including the SMAS layer, the same structural layer tightened in a surgical facelift — creating microscopic points of thermal coagulation that contract immediately and trigger months of new collagen production. The result is gradual lifting and firming of the brows, jawline, jowls and neck, developing over two to three months and typically lasting 12–18 months from a single session. Treatment takes 45–90 minutes; brief stinging is felt as each pulse fires, and the skin may be slightly tender for a few days, but there is no visible downtime. HIFU suits mild to moderate laxity — it complements but does not replace surgery for advanced sagging, and that distinction is made honestly at consultation.
