PRP
Your own platelet-rich plasma used to regenerate skin and support hair growth.
Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) therapy uses your own blood as the treatment. A small sample is drawn and spun in a centrifuge to concentrate the platelets — cells rich in natural growth factors — and this plasma is then injected into the skin or scalp. On the face, PRP improves skin texture, fine lines and dullness, and is often combined with microneedling. On the scalp, it is used to strengthen thinning hair and support hair-transplant results. Because the material comes from your own body, allergic reactions are extremely rare. A session takes about 45 minutes, and a course of three to four sessions spaced a month apart is usually recommended, followed by maintenance sessions. Mild redness or tenderness for a day or two is the most common side effect.
