Botulinum toxin (Botox) injections temporarily relax the small facial muscles whose repeated movement causes expression lines — frown lines between the brows, horizontal forehead lines and crow's feet around the eyes. Used at conservative, individually planned doses, the goal is a rested, refreshed look that still moves naturally; a frozen appearance is a sign of over-treatment, not good treatment. The injections take around 10–15 minutes with minimal discomfort and no downtime — most patients return to their day immediately. The effect appears gradually over 3–14 days and typically lasts three to four months. Botox is also used medically at the clinic for teeth grinding (masseter), a gummy smile, and excessive sweating of the underarms or palms. Suitability is confirmed at consultation.
